Did a quick update of the website today, mostly to take away links and since I'm now back in the states, I removed the references to East Africa Tech Ventures which was my Ugandan based company.
apps.tv is mostly on cruise control...I reactivated a couple apps since I was to lazy to actually turn off the servers and figured there was no point just letting them sit there.
Still deciding what to do with apps.tv, I have a few ideas for new apps that I've been posting at twitter:
http://twitter.com/appstv
but so far none excite me enough to actually implement.

I just looked at the new site in IE and in addition to having some weird extra space at the top (probably my fault with css errors), my transparent pngs have a pink background.
Will try to fix tonight.

A few changes and I was able to make my web app php4 compatible (thank goodness for Zend!)
Its up and running.
Still to do:
1) Create login and app management pages
2) Create ad management pages

So I spent the last two weeks re-writing the apps.tv website. Its nice and object oriented and very clean, easy to add new pages.
And my server doesn't have php 5 installed. My new app doesn't work.
Need to figure out how to install php 5 or re-write again with just php 4 features.
very disappointing, I'm starting to hate rackforce but I'm stuck there since I can't change ip addresses.

Welcome to the apps.tv blog.
I have lots of improvements coming up for apps.tv, including
1) Advertising for apps to allow for monetization
2) An updated website (coming this week, I hope)
